Pentru imbinarea tevilor in retelele din PP se recomanda folosirea fitingurilor din PP, datorita rezistentei lor chimice, fiabilitatii ridicate si lipsei depunerilor. Elementele din PP au pierderi de presiune reduse, datorita suprafetei interioare lise, grad ridicat de izolare termica si fonica, rezistenta mecanica buna la temperaturi ridicate si scazute.
